PASSIVE COMPONENTS
These are the elements that consume or store energy with the current generated when voltage is applied to the circuit. Resistors act as a load in the circuit and resist the current passing over it. They expose heat energy to the circuit and spend energy in the circuit. Capacitors store electrical energy and coils store energy as magnetic field.
